“Of course you’re a feminist.”

That is what my parents told me at the age of four.  “Why would you not be? Not being a feminist would just be plain stupid because that would mean that you are against fighting for your own rights.

I have been a feminist ever since. The last few years we have witnessed another wave of feminism that have swept over us. The #metoo movement, as well as local and international politics, lifted voices across the globe demanding equal rights for woman and men that are still not a given.  Through Insight Magazine, we want to give a platform to several of these Voices around the world working towards equality.

Because we are not there yet.

We are thrilled to share with you the podcast in which our Prime Minister Erna Solberg responds to the claim that women leaders have handled the Corona crisis better that the average. We are also sharing with you the speech from SHE Conference 2020 where the first female Prime Minister in Norway, Gro Harlem Brundtland talks about the serious situation for women in many parts of the world.

In this first edition of Insight, we are so fortunate as to have the author and former editor in chief of ELLE magazine, Signy Fardal, talking about women and leadership. Fardal is advocating for women to step up in order to get what they want.

I invite you to join us in working towards more equality and diversity. Towards closing the gender gap in order to make sure that equal opportunities are given to everybody.

Be inspired and get involved.

Welcome to SHE Community’s Insight Magazine.
