I have always felt as if a new year begins in August. Full of energy after a relaxing summer, we are ready for new endeavours and new opportunities. We started off our new season by going to Arendalsuka with some of our most trusted partners, expanding our network and learning from representatives from a wide range of industries.
However, the most exciting news we have to offer in our first edition of Insight Magazine, are news that are crossing borders. After 25 years of working on—and leading—some of the most innovative Microsoft products, Gavriella Schuster left Microsoft to join to join forces with several prominent organizations in future technology innovation. Schuster will now be a permanent member of the SHE Community Board of Directors.
In this first autumn edition of Insight, we have three interviews with leaders from very different fields. Hotel-owner Stephanos Fandridakis from Crete tells us about his hotel, philosophy as an owner, and how their business slowly is coming back to everyday life after a devastating year for the industry.
Camilla Rundberg is the creator of evenodds and the RQ app. The RQ app is designed to train leaders on acting with emotional intelligence at work using exercises aimed at increasing self-awareness, compassion, and social courage. The third one is Vilde Regine Tellnes, founder of Healthy EATS, that strives to become a healthy alternative to McDonalds.
We also have one of our most read and loved voices, Phumza Dyiani, writing about the personal recovery back to work after the pandemic.
From all of us at SHE, we wish you a great start to the new season and we hope that we will continue to inspire the change that we all want to see.
